Portable X-ray spectrometer - "Focus-R1"    (capillary optics are possible...)     

PORTABLE X-RAY FLUORESCENCE ANALYZER "FOCUS-R1"

 

APPLICATION AREA:

Criminalistics, geology, black and nonferrous metallurgy, jewelleries and stones tests, ecology, archeology, restoration works, paint and varnish coverings, entrance and final quality assurance of metals, sorting of a breakage of metals.

 

Portable  X-ray fluorescence analyzer pretended for mass concentration   defenitions in probe for alemens from  Si(14) to U(92), in a probe with sizes from tens parts of millimeter to millimeters.  It can be ecology, archeology, restoration works, paint and varnish coverings and so on. Probes can be liquid and firm (as dusts, films, spray filters, and so on)  The trial sample of the device is developed by IRO.

 

All the analysis process   from the data acquisition  to its  processing, before accepting  results as a table values   of concentration  defined elements, is automated and carried out by the built in computer.
 

            In the portable  analyzer x-ray radiation of a tube are gathered  by a polycapillary half-lens and goes on investigated object (probe) in the form of almost parallel beam (divergence 2 mRad). Diameter of the x-ray beam leaving a half-lens, for the account of technology  is possible to change from the tenth shares of mm to 10 mm, commensurating it, thus, with the real sizes of investigated object.
            Built in color CCD camera allows to observe visually, on the one hand, investigated area, with another to combine an axis of a x-ray beam  with the centre of investigated object.
The quantitative estimation of the maintenance of elements in analyzed probe is carried out with use of a method of fundamental parametres, or with use of a method of pure elements.
