Power supply XPS-50-50 for microfocus X-ray  tubes

Control and Power Supply Unit for X-ray Tube Irradiator of up to 50 W Power

Experimental physics

 

The unit is designed for power supply and control of 3-electrode x-ray tubes of TRM50-50–type x-ray tubes with grounded anode, high voltage (anode) supply to cathode and anode current control by the way of changing voltage on the control electrode x-ray tube.

All modes of operation are controlled manually – by push buttons on the control panel (microprocessor); or remotedly from PC – via RS-232 interface (software should be ordered separately). Running and pre-set values of anode voltage microfocus x-ray tube and current are shown on 3-digit indicator boards. Modes of operation of the unit are indicated by respective LED.

The unit for x-ray tubes is made in aluminum eurostandard case. On the back panel, there are outlets for connection of irradiator, remote control connector, fan, line inlet.
